Update Lely Campus Phase 2

Due to the continued worldwide growth of Lely’s business activities, the current facility will be doubled, with three wings of office space totaling 10,600 m² and a production hall totaling 24,000 m². Construction of the new facility is on schedule and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2022. With sustainability as a top priority, the farming innovator is striving for a ‘BREEAM Outstanding’ certification, just like with the current building.

Some milestones of the new building

• June 2019: Start of demolition work of the old production halls and office space
• March 2020: Start decontamination of the site
• July 2020: First pile of new building
• October 2020: Start placement of foundations
• November 2020: Construction of steelwork
• January 2021: Placement of connecting bridge from existing building to new building
• February 2021: Landfill of floors
• April 2021: Installation of glass outside walls
